"Is the name "The thinking Fellers Union Local 282" too long?"

Thinking Fellers Union Local 282 is one of may favorite bands. They're at the top of my favorite bands' list, which is concentrated on San Francisco bands. The reason is simply that they are very good. If I try to say what makes them so good, it's the guitar ensemble sound, fantastic, pretty, spacy....... it matches may taste perfetly.

I feel a strong affinity for the way they build their sound, so strong that it hardly feels like another person's music. the sound itself is in a way avant-garde and chaotic, but hte songs leave a beautiful, pop impression. Very few people can successfully pull this off. My hat is off in respect, "Hmm, I see, I see." kind of thing. I slso feel in their sound the last, best, magical flavor of old San Francisco psychedelia. Of course, this has nothing to do with drugs. There's a hint of, say, Moby Grape, and then I'll think, no, that's not really the same.

Recently, other San Francisco bands, such as Caroliner, have become familiar in Japan, but Thinking Fellers Union Local 282 deserve the most attention as the most powerful of the lots.

California's Thinking Fellers Union Local 282 is avant-pop. Pop and avant-garde at the same time, they renew the concept of being pop, and being avant-garde. You will easily get hooked to this album. More you listen, better you know. They compiled this special album to be released in Japan. Their best selections.
